“The wealth of faith, the wealth of virtuous behaviour,
the wealth of moral shame and moral dread,
the wealth of learning and generosity,
with wisdom, the seventh kind of wealth;
“When one has these seven kinds of wealth,
whether woman or man,
they say that one is not poor,
that one’s life is not lived in vain.
“Therefore an intelligent person,
remembering the Buddha’s teaching,
should be intent on faith and virtuous behaviour,
confidence and vision of the Dhamma.” – AN 7.6 (Bodhi)
“Saddhādhanaṁ sīladhanaṁ,
hirī ottappiyaṁ dhanaṁ;
Sutadhanañca cāgo ca,
paññā ve sattamaṁ dhanaṁ.
“Yassa ete dhanā atthi,
itthiyā purisassa vā;
Adaliddoti taṁ āhu,
amoghaṁ tassa jīvitaṁ.
“Tasmā saddhañca sīlañca,
pasādaṁ dhammadassanaṁ;
Anuyuñjetha medhāvī,
saraṁ buddhāna sāsanan”ti.
“ယုံကြည်မှု ‘သဒ္ဓါ’ ဥစ္စာ၊စောင့်ထိန်းမှု ‘သီလ’ ဥစ္စာ၊
ရှက်မှု, ကြောက်လန့်မှု ‘ဟိရီ သြတ္တပ္ပ’ ဥစ္စာ၊
အကြားအမြင် ‘သုတ’ ဥစ္စာ၊ စွန့်ကြဲမှု ‘စာဂ’ ဥစ္စာ၊
ခုနစ်ခုမြောက် သိမှု ‘ပညာ’ ဥစ္စာတို့တည်း။
အကြင်မိန်းမအား ဖြစ်စေ အကြင်ယောကျာ်းအား ဖြစ်စေ ထိုသူတော်ကောင်း ဥစ္စာတို့သည် ရှိကုန်၏၊
ထိုသူတော်ကောင်း ဥစ္စာရှိသော မိန်းမယောကျာ်းကို မဆင်းရဲသူဟူ၍ ပညာရှိတို့ ဆိုကုန်၏၊
ထိုသူ၏အသက်ရှင်ခြင်းကို အချည်းနှီး မဟုတ်ဟု ဆိုကုန်၏။
ထို့ကြောင့် ပညာရှိသည် ဘုရားသျှင်အဆုံးအမတော်ကို အောက်မေ့လျက်
ကြည်လင်စေတတ်သောသဒ္ဓါတရားကိုလည်းကောင်း၊
(သစ္စာလေးပါးတရား) ကို မြင်ကြောင်းဖြစ်သော သီလကိုလည်းကောင်းအဖန်ဖန်အားထုတ်ရာသတည်း။”
“Tín tài và giới tài,
Tàm tài và quý tài,
Văn tài và thí tài,
Và tuệ, tài thứ bảy;
Ai có những tài này,
Nữ nhân hay nam nhân,
Ðược gọi không nghèo khổ,
Mạng sống không trống rỗng,
Do vậy tín và giới,
Tịnh tín và thấy pháp,
Bậc trí chuyên chú tâm,
Ức niệm lời Phật dạy.”
「信財、戒財，慚與愧財，
所聞財與施捨，第七是慧財，
凡有這些財者，［不論］男或女，
他們說他是『不貧窮者』，他的活命是不空虛的。
因此有智慧者，憶念著佛陀的教說，
你們應該從事信與戒，淨信、法之看見。」
